The idyllic hiking route "Dänikhorster Moor" leads through a sparsely populated moor area. Part of the hike takes place on a narrow natural path.

From the parking lot at Hotel Hubertus, proceed a few meters along the main road before turning onto Drosselweg. Soon the paved path becomes a sandy path and leads through agricultural and tree nursery areas. In the "Dänikhorster Moor" nature reserve, which was returned to nature years ago through rewetting, various wild animals can be observed depending on the season. The route continues on Fintlandstraße, accompanied by moor landscapes and some farms. After a turn onto Junkersdamm, the rewetting of the moor with dead birch trees in the dammed water is impressively visible. If the moor path is too wet, this area can be bypassed. Otherwise, the route continues through the moor area and eventually back to Drosselweg, from where you return to the starting point.
