The Ammerland wall hedges are valuable components of the cultural landscape. They shape the Ammerland park landscape and run through the land, which is intensively used by people, like lifelines. Wall hedges were originally created as living fences and to demarcate property. They provide a habitat to a large extent for wild animal and plant species. You can get an idea of this for yourself on this approximately 34-kilometer route.
Highlights:
The entire "wall hedge route" is marked with a green wall hedge symbol. The tour is signposted in both directions and the cyclist can ride the tour in both directions and combine it with the junction system. In addition, the intermediate signposts of the cycle traffic system indicate the direction on the way.
The exact route description can be found on the GPX track.
