Agriculture, forestry and tree nurseries shape our cultural landscape in the Ammerland and give it a very special character. Display boards at 16 stations provide information on a wide range of topics. The 43-kilometer route leads through the municipalities of Bad Zwischenahn, Westerstede and Wiefelstede, but can also be covered in shorter partial routes. The information boards give you an exciting insight into very different production processes in agriculture, forestry and tree nursery. If you feel like it, you can also book one of the guided tours offered in summer, which is authentically led by a farmer and ends with a tour of the farm.
Highlights:
The tour is marked with a green tractor symbol. The tour is signposted in both directions.
Test your knowledge of agriculture and answer the practical questions on the display boards that you will find on every farm.
