The approximately 54-kilometer route leads from Rastede via Wiefelstede and Varel to the Jade Bay. Numerous fish restaurants invite you to rest here in the harbor. From the dike you can already take a first look at the quiet zones of the Wadden Sea National Park hidden behind it. The Wadden Sea is recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Commission as a World Heritage Site. In Jaderberg there is the possibility to visit the Jaderpark.
Highlights:
The entire Wadden Sea Nature Park tour is marked with a blue wadden bird symbol. The tour is signposted in both directions and the cyclist can ride the tour in both directions and combine it with other tours. In addition, the intermediate signposts of the cycle traffic system indicate the direction on the way.
The exact route description can be found on the GPX track.
No special equipment is required. A repair and breakdown kit can be carried for safety.
