The only 17 kilometer long path from Bad Zwischenahn to the Oldenburg city center is characterized by the railway embankment, on the right side of which the cycle path mostly runs. The romantically situated Woldsee, which is passed halfway through, offers an opportunity to cool off in summer temperatures. The way back is through the feudal settlements of Petersfehn.
Highlights RIGHT AND LEFT OF THE ROUTE
The entire "Art & Culture City of Oldenburg" is marked with a purple symbol of the castle. The tour is signposted in both directions and cyclists can ride the tour in both directions and combine it with other tours. In addition, the intermediate signposts of the cycle traffic system indicate the direction on the way. The exact route description can be found on the GPX track.
No special equipment is required. A repair and breakdown kit can be carried for safety.
With a beautiful and large beer garden, the country inn "Zum Drögen Hasen" offers a resting place in an idyllic location.
